For those who are curious to know where my current signature quote comes from, wonder no more.  Short Skirt, Long Jacket is a song by the band Cake, from their 2001 album Comfort Eagle. I love listening to them every once in while, not only because their songs are frequently used in TV and movie soundtracks, but because listening to them is kinda like a weird proverbial breath of fresh air.  Go take a listen to their stuff like Never There, Sheep Go To Heaven, Rock n' Roll Lifestyle, and their cover of I Will Survive. and you might see, or rather, hear what I mean.  As for this song, it's one of my faves. It's cute, silly, sexy, suggestive, powerful and crazy  Just like Sam!  Drawn with the usual 2B mechanical pencil and darkened in Photoshop. No ink was used in the making of this deviation. |
