(yeah, kinda late- but still!)
I spent mine at the cemetery, and reading Alamat Comics' Trese written by Budjette Tan and illustrated by Kajo Baldisimo. It's perfect reading for the occassion.
When crime tukes a turn for the weird and unexplained, the police call on Alexandra Trese. Armed with her trusty wavy edged kris and backed up by her supernatural trigger happy masked minions the kambal, she deals with the underworld on regular basis. Aswangs, kapres, engkantos, duwendes, white ladies, lamang-lupas, you name it.
A quickie done with a very dull 2B clutch pencil with added effects in Photoshop. Theater masks for Halloween? Why not!

um.. so which one's basilio and which one's crispin? are their names written somewhere inside books 2 and 3?
i finished book 1 and still reading book 2 but i definitely want to know whos who so i'd be able to name 'em for my own fanart.. i came to know about Trese just yesterday and got hold of all 3 volumes from FullyBooked, i'm waiting for book 4 now..
