MEET THE DECEPTICONS!(aka fullview please) part 1 is here!
Hoookay, finally I got to finish part 2 of the Transformers in human forms. I have to admit that the Decepticons are much more difficult to, well, transform than the Autobots! I think it's because of two things:
1) most of their faces don't resemble humans at all. they look more reptilian or insect-like(especially Scorponok)
2) most of 'em didn't get much screen time(or any dialogue, for that matter)
Still, I somehow managed to nail all 8 of them(whew!) Here we go:
1) Megatron- Since in the movie he's supposed to be Prime's brother, I tried to make him look like they're really related(you may notice his beard looks like it has small side grills). He's got meaner eyebrows and a thicker mane(to look like his helmet) and I gave him that Agent Smith grin(he did voice him) As for what he's wearing, well he did got stuck in the Arctic remember?
2) Starscream- For some reason when I stare at Screamer's closeup I have this picture of Antonio Banderas in my head, specifically in his role in Desperado. So what the heck, might as well use him(a more angular, sneakier version). Also, his hair does stand in well for the shape of his helmet.
3) Barricade- I didn't want to give him a unibrow so I kept his hat on His holographic driver works well enough, I just gave him facial hair that resemble his mouth and chin.
4) Frenzy- He was so annoyingly all over the place he might as well be Officer Barricade's crazy hyperactive kid Gave him an equally crazy hairdo, plus piercings and earrings to resemble his spikes. He's also a tech nut and has a habit of swiping watches from his foes. Crazy I tell ya.
5) Scorponok- Oh man, he's the most difficult one. Since he(it?) was more or less a mindless machine that followed Blackout's every command, I figured he might just as well be some real psycho... kinda like cross Anthony Hopkins' creepy stare and Steve Buscemi's creepy eyes. I also gave him long hair with a receding hairline so it flops to the side to resemble the armor plates of his head. I think you can guess who's holding his leash
6) Blackout- I thought Blackout would look great as a biker chick, in black leather and chains, riding a chopper(get it? ) Actually I thought of Jada Pinkett-Smith as Niobe from the Matrix films especially with taht weird hair. Just gave her a more spiky do, a matching pair of glasses, and some sharp earrings.
7) Brawl- Think of an evil Colonel Trautman(you know, Rambo? ) in his beret and smoking a cigar. Who would've known he was a tank sergeant, too?
8) Bonecrusher- Believe it or not, he's the easiest one to draw. Let's see... big, bulky, always angry, hates everything, likes to charge at stuff.... he sure reminds me of a certain wrestler named Goldberg! With his signature move, the spear(exactly what he did to Optimus on the freeway)he's perfect!
Your interpretation of Megatron was excellent! Agent Smith indeed... Then again, his voice actor, Hugo Weaving, made Agent Smith evil incarnate, so why not give Agent Smith's grin to Megatron?
I had to laugh when you said you chose Antonio Banderas in Desperado for Starscream, because Starscream is considered to be the 'Con prettyboy by a lot of fangirls.
I prefer your interpretation of Barricade to the one I saw in the movie. I didn't like the mustache much, but I prefer the fuller amount of facial hair that you gave him. At least now no one can mix him up with Banachek.
*laughs*
You did a perfect job casting Frenzy! Spastic, hyperactive, always getting into everything, and appallingly talented with tech: definitely a punk-rock kid with sticky fingers and ADD.
Your Scorponok was also well-chosen, though those eyes and that little bit of tongue sticking out from the corner of his mouth reminds me of Greed from Fullmetal Alchemist. But that's just me.
*sheepish laugh*
I'm intrigued that you chose to portray Blackout as a woman. Not that I'm complaining about the the choice, since it's a damn good one, but I just want to know why. I'm curious.
I bow to your interpretation of Brawl, though I don't ever recall seeing any such guy in Rambo (then again, it's been a while).
I don't know of any wrestler named Goldberg, but hell, if anything, Bonecrusher's definitely got to be a wrestler. I still remember that massive fight he and Optimus had on the freeway; it was one of the best fight scenes in the entire movie.
You've done a really great job with the movie characters; is there any chance you're going to do the rest of them, like the ones from the comics and cartoons?

Although i've always thought of Scorpionok as being a kind of pet, or specifically a kind of attack dog.
I guess a manic human stalker will do.
