Artist's Comments
While cleaning up my stuff I found this very old sketch, it's my sister Lizel's English project back in high school.
 Fond memories of her high school days started coming back. She still had short hair back then, and when she asked me to do a sketch for her haiku. I decided to draw her.  I love drawing Lizel, she looks like one of those anime characters because she has this really cute nose and a pointy chin.  If Sam and Lex were based from me, Mia was in turn inspired by Lizel. (see the physical resemblance)  Forgive me for being mushy here, but I love my shobe so much, so this deviation still fits the theme of the month. By the way, she had just passed her thesis and she's on her way to working in Makati. Galeng ng shobe ko!  Drawn with an F mechanical pencil on bond paper. Even without the sketch I'm sure she'd still get a perfect score. |
