Ergo Proxy is probably one of the most under appreciated series of recent years. Sure, it's not one of the best but it certainly is one of the most unique(a sci-fi mindfuck, as someone put it ) It ranks up there with Ghost in the Shell: SAC and Paranoia Agent on my list of anime I'd watch over and over again.
What makes me love this series so much is the interaction between the characters. (if you have no idea of what I'm babbling about, go watch it. NAO)

The personalities of Re-l, Vincent and Pino reminds me sooo much of my own characters- Sam, Lex, and Mia. Even their relationships and interactions with one another hit close to home. The episode mentioned above, Episode 16- where they're all basically well, busy doing nothing is my absolute fave.

On a last note, if I ever had a daughter I want her to be like Pino (she doesn't have to be an android, tho)
