No, it's not Robert Smith of The Cure, :rofl: It's Dream, a.k.a. Morpheus. =D

Drawn with a very dull 2B clutch pencil, and also with 's B clutch pencil when I ran out of lead. ;P (Thanks so much! Couldn't have finished it without ya! ^.^ )

This looks alot like detective Jack Rafferty from Sin City, the cop they killed in O-town. How's that for random?

:D I'm only just digging down into Sandman, but Gaiman's a mad genius, and the entire concept of Morpheus and his dusfunctional family of Endless delights me. I love the portrayal here, classic to the original yet still remaining unique. I adore that slight little hint of smile on his mouth. Lovely, truly.

Ey! Thanks a lot! =D =D =D I actually found it hard to nail down a good expression for Morpheus because his eyes are all black, and I tend to rely mostly in a character's eyes to create emotion. ^^; Glad you liked it! :wave:

*grins* Well you did quite a good job anyways, and if you draw him again, you can probably still use his eyes for a tleast part of the expression, just by making them shine or glint a certain way, really. *shrugs* :) Keep up the good work.

But it is a well known rumor that the artist did loosely base Morpeus after Robert Smith of the Cure, under Gaiman's instruction.
