Drawn To The Light

Finally, a Christmas deviation. Sort of.

Quite frankly, I don't feel much Yuletide cheer this year... I dunno, maybe it's because of work, or perhaps because of the fact that I'm now the one expected to do the giving(and I don't expect any receiving, either ), or maybe I'm just getting old. Anyway, since I'm in the giving mood, here's one for ya'll. ^__^

I haven't drawn all of my characters together for the longest time, so here's a collage for a change. From the top: Mom, Mia, Mika, Sam, and Lex. Drawn directly on Canson paper with a penbrush(or brushpen, whatever)again, during the daMEAT Xmas party. Around 30 minutes or so(so please forgive all the mistakes ). I just added the lens flare and touches of airbrush in Photoshop.

Just so you know, the Light being mentioned in the title is Mia. Everybody else's attention is drawn towards her.
Lex is her brother and only remaining family.
Mom and Mika are fascinated and obsessed with her.
Sam will do anything to keep her away from Mom.

So in way, Mia is the one thing that brought all of 'em together(at least, in this pic ) Like the bright star that drew the 3 wise men. Sort of.
