Oookay it's been a while since I've drawn something with some semblance to a background, I have to confess(and you may have realized by now) that I'm sorta lazy and don't like drawing backgrounds.
But I needed a dark and gothic forest scene, and described one for me to try:

...imagine a forest path -very dark, of course. It's night and you have lost lovers... royalty of some sort, not dressed for the outdoors except for maybe a cloak for the lady. They got into a vehicular accident... carriage crashed, horses went rabid and ran away so they're not really very energetic either, maybe limping along well enough...a torn sleeve for the gentleman.
And then from the shadows of the trees above they notice a shadow almost human, watching... ther perspective can come from the top, from the trees, looking down to the path maybe. The man hasn't noticed it yet, he's looking back towards the crash scene maybe... the lady has just caught sight of it, trying to catch her companions attention. The creature- just a silhouette...

And this was the result... maybe not quite what she had in mind, but I guess I pulled it off. There's the carriage, there's the torn sleeve, there's the cloak, and there's the creature. I have to admit I ended up borrowing a few ideas from her work, though. ehehehehe...
